The annual winter charity concert, put on by Stanford ISC's Kappa Kappa Gamma, IFC's Sigma Nu, and the Stanford Concert Network, will feature a variety of performers, hailing from EDM, R&B, and rock.
Snowchella 2016 is part of the joint efforts of Kappa and Sigma Nu to support Joyful Heart Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering survivors of sexual violence, saying "NO MORE" to victim-blaming language on campuses, and eliminating the backlog of untested rape kits sitting in justice departments around the U.S.
The Joyful Heart Foundation was started by Mariska Hargitay (of Law&Order: SVU) in 2004 with the intention of helping sexual assault survivors heal and reclaim a sense of joy in their lives. According to the Foundation's website:
